Abstract:Based on the analysis of kinematic and dynamic characteristics of multiple refracted reflections, two possible propagation paths of multiple refracted reflections are summarized in this paper through the deductions of propagation paths. For Path I,the received waves are refractions after multiple reflections, and for Path II,the received waves are reflections after refraction waves reflected several times.Through the analysis and induction of the possible propagation paths, two possible propagation paths are verified by the spectral element forward modeling method based on a half-space model and a wave guide model, and the actual propagation Path I is approved by the results of modeling, which means the incident waves reflected several times initially near the source and generate refractions in the wave guide layer.
