Abstract:This paper is presented a system approach for elastic wave propagation in 3D media.With quasi-particle system on a discrete 3-D lattice Hamilton function is introduced to describe the system.For interaction model in the system,the central quasi-particle only has interaction with six nearest quasi-particle and twelve nearer ones.Interaction coefficients and their relation with p wave velocity,quality density,and poisson's ratio are presented.The second-order symplectic difference scheme discrete equations developed in this paper are used in the given medium models.Simulation results show that the method is effective.
