Traveltime velocity tomography based on ADCIGs of Gaussian beam

Abstract:Uaussian beam prestack depth migration is ac-curate,flexible,and efficient and its angle domaincommon imaging gathers(ADCIUs) can reflect therelationship between migration depth and local in-cidence angle of the imaging points without arti-facts caused by multi-path problem.Integratingthese advantages, this paper proposes a traveltimevelocity tomography method based on ADCIUs ofUaussian beam.We derive quantitative formula be-tween sensitivity matrix and residual curvature ofADCIUs,and calculate residual curvature by theautomatic fitting strategy.The synthetic and realdataset examples demonstrate that this method ob-tams high precision velocity inversion result withhigh computation efficiency.
