Abstract:In recent years, attributes based on spectrum decomposition, such as low frequency shadow with hydrocarbon and fluid mobility, provide new approaches for reservoir prediction and fluid identification. GeoEast provides this kind of tools like fluid mobility attributes of spectrum in the attribute analysis modules. It can be used to delineate and evaluate thin sandstone reservoir with obvious lateral heterogeneity. This paper focuses on tight sandstone gas prediction in the area of Well S. The fluid mobility attribute is utilized for reservoir hydrocarbon prediction and analysis. Our predications are completely identical with drilling results, which shows the fluid mobility attribute is a potential tool for reservoir delineation and it is only dependant on seismic data quality such as SNR and bandwidth.
