Abstract:There have been many former successful methods for suppression of mono-frequency interference on seismic records, such as notch filter in frequency domain and fitting method in time domain,in which the fitting method in time domain is very efficient for suppression of mono-frequency interference with strong energy. But the fitting method usually used looking for the frequency of mono-frequency wave by frequency scanning that is more time-consuming,which is not able to meet the needs of currently increasing high-coverage and high-density seismic data processing day by day.The paper presents using Chirp-Z transform-based high-precision spectrum analysis technique to evaluate the frequency of mono-frequency wave, which not only improves computational efficiency, but also effectively protects the useful signal near the frequency of mono-frequency interference while suppression of mono-frequency interference.
