Travel time-difference analysis and parameter extraction for 3D VSP data and surface seismic data in anisotropic media

Abstract:The target zone in this paper is above T4 (3200ms),the stratum-structure is relatively flat,and there is not much change for velocity field,and the faults and fractures develop in one direction,based on the hypotheses of VTI media and HTI media,the method of integrating 3D VSP data with surface seismic data to solve anisotropic parameters is studied in this paper,and the characteristics of the spatial change for HTI media was analyzed. The study results show that the media in the study area obviously have the VTI properties and HTI features,by estimating VTI anisotropic parameters and analyzing HTI spatial relative change,less seismic wave travel time difference was obtained. Based on consistence characteristic between space relative change for HTI media and space change for real fractures,the fracture reservoir can be effectively predicted.
