Abstract:The dichotomy seismic attribute extraction method for wedge-shaped strata was proposed in this paper. At first the times for the upper and lower reference layers were picked up,then the middle time value of the two times is regarded as the time for the attribute points,and then the time pick-up goes further in more detail in this way. Rationality and effectiveness of this method were explained in this paper,and the method was applied in reservoir prediction for the shallow-middle Qingshankou Formation in southern Songliao Basin,and the practicability and feasibility of the method were proven in this paper. Through analysis of sedimentary characteristics and hydrocarbon accumulation rule for the target formation in this area,favorite reservoir development areas were determined and drilling targets were proposed.
