Abstract：By studying changing rule and character of modular characteristic points of wavelet transform of seismic signal ,the paper revealed the relations between seismic singularity and extreme of module of wavelet transform.The modular characteristic points of all level of wavelet decomposition have been processed by the studying results of these relations,obtaining a stable and reliable non-linear least square solution of Lipschitz index.Good results are obtained either from the examination of synthetic model or from the processing of real field data.
