Abstract:In seismic exploration,the random noise is an interference wave that has broad band and deteriorates signal-to-noise ratio of signal.The common-used 1-D noise-eliminated methods have poor effects.The wavelet transform is a time-frequency analysis method,which can effectively eliminate random interference and preserve high and middle frequency components of siqnal according to its frequency-shared and local analyzed ability and combining with noise suppression using smooth filter in 1-D direction.After wavelet packet reconstruction,it can restore the signal of useful waves.The method is superior to ordinary 1-D noise suppressionmethod.
