Abstract:The quality of offshore high-resolution 3-D seismic data depends on data acquisition,data processing on the spot,geological condition of prospect and so on. By analysing and comparing the different high frequency attenuations due to formations in different offshore areas,the author has found that seismic reflection energies of river faeies formation in offshore Qinhuangdao is 4一6dB weaker than those of marine fades formation in LD area in South China sea. In offshore Qinhuangdao,some unfavourable factors such as severe high frequency attenuation,low signal/noise ratio,weak reflection coefficient,discontinuous seismic event,too big line spacing and so on,restrict the improvernent of seismic resolution. The experiment of revising technological process and parameters was made to achieve the improvements of velocity and high frequency DMO response in big line spacing condition,which are significant to seismic resolution amelioration. Experiments led to the conelusions that acquisition factor causes great influence on seismic data quality.
