Abstract:Law-frequency cavibratian experiments of four kinds of fluid-saturated feldspar sandstanes which have different viscosity coefficients respectively were candu}ted so as to know haw fluid viscosity coefficient influences attenuation, madulus and velocity dispersion in fluid-saturated sandstone. These experiments lead to believable conclusions:Bath attenuation temperature spectrum and attenuation frequency spectrum show that acoustic attenuation is linear with viscosity coefficient in 0.0l~lOHz band. Higher viscosity coefficient results in higher modulus. There occur obvious madulus and velocity dispersions, which tend severe with the increase of viscosity coefficient.
