Abstract:Geotemperature field estimation and hydrocarbon reservoir prediction in south-east Songliao basin were achieved by using the geothermal conductivity equation that is derived from finite element operation,with the restriction of accurate Curie depth,interpreted geology section,variation data of subsurface petrophysical property and surface temperature. As a result,an efficient method for predicting mid,shallow and local hydrocarbon reservoirs in basin has been developed recently. Its application effect in southeast Songliao basin shows its theoretical and practical value.
