Abstract:in order to know how stress relaxation attenuation varies with temperature or frequency,we made a forced resonance experiment on fluid-saturated sandstone in the frequency range of 0.1-10Hz. The experiment led to the conclusions:That a decrease in temperature is equivalent to an increase in frequency. That the attenuation peak of sandstone vibration moves toward high temperature direction when the viscosity coefficient of saturation fluid increases. That viscosity coefficient causes the same influence on vibration attenuation as frequency does. That higher porosity brings more severe attenuation of sand vibration.
