Abstract:Prediction noise elimination in F-XYZ domain was developed on the basis of F-XY domain prediction;and its hypothesis is that in F-XYZ domain,useful seismic signals are predictable,but random noises are not. This technique includes the following steps:Convert seismic data into F-XYZ domain.Use least square principle to obtain prediction operator.Apply prediction operator in seismic data to eliminate random noises.Convert seismic data into time-space domain to get final result.Theoretical modeling and real data processing results indicate that prediction noise elimination in F-XYZ domain is a very effective technique for eliminating randorn noises in 3-D prestack seismic data.
