Abstract:In L1 modulo deconvolution based on seismic trace convolution model in layered medium, the deconvolution result usually loses the continuity of original seismic section because strong reflection horizons are exhibited in different degrees in different gathers and because their reflection coefficient locations can not be determined consistently in single trace processing. The application of location restriction condition causes the location of major reflection horizons to be determined desirably, thus removing the original defect that seismic section shows poor continuity due to inaccurate location of major reflection horizons.Theoretical model and real data result prove the method feasible.
