Abstract:With the use of Ohm's law,the equation of electric potential in anisotropic medium is derived from the continuity equation of an electric current,and its essential solution is given too The primary electric potentials of point electric current sources which lie on the surface of layered anisotropic medium and in the medium are got respectively By using recursion method,we can deduce the general solution of the electric potential of the point source that lies on the surface of IV-layer anisotropic medium The electric potential formulae are given of the point source that is embedded in IV-layer anisotropic medium. According to the theoretical results ,we can also know the electric potential solotions of the point sources lying in the orresponding ways in isotropic medium by letting the vertical conductivity be equal to the horizontal one.
