Abstract:In sound instruments, the function of regulating high, mid and Iow-frequency signals is used to amplify the analogue signals of different audio frequency bands in different degrees,so that the audio frequency signals in different frequency bands can be enhanced or suppressed desirably. This procedure is essentially an amplitude-distorted filtering. The filtering principle is introduced into the high resolution processing of seismic data to highlight high frequency seismic signals, and the filtering technique is called a frequency-weighted filtering. To speak in detail,we may design a zero-phase frequency-weighted filter for known seismic frequency band so as to properly regulate the amplitudes of high, mid and low-frequency signals for higher high-frequency energy and for higher seismic resolution on the premise of no distortion of original seismic signals.
