Abstract:We put forward fuzzy fractional dimension conception based on fractal theory and fuzzy aggregation.Major difference between the fuzzy fractional dimension and fractional dimension is as follows:the former says there is no definite self-similarity but fuzzy similarity between a complicated graph and its part;however,the latter affirms the existence of self-similarity.The fuzzy self-similarity can be estimated by using fuzzy fractional dimension.We describe the method for computing characteristic curve of fuzzy fractional dimension.Classification recognition of hydrocarbon reservoir can be achieved by using the curve.It is illustrated that fuzzy fractional dimension causes more obvious difference between reservoir patterns and clearer distinction between oil-bearing feature and oil-free feature than fractional dimension does.
