Abstract:Intertrace sequence regulation scheme of seismic samples(Bruland etal)is revised here.My sequence regulation method has the following essentials:1)determining proper step size in the light of noises and data processing target,2)avoidingboth the previous limitation on intertrace step size and the too dense output samples which were less dense on the relevant input trace under the requirements of intertrace sequence regulation,and 3)wider applications.Theoretical modeling and seismic data results show that mid value filtering plus the intertrace sequence regulation.of seismic samples is very effective on elimination of multiple waves,and obviously improves stacked sections.The method is muchbetter than f-k filtering.
