Abstract:Functions of the LandMark N workstation may achieve lateral reservoir prediction using seismic data. The LandMark N workstation can accomplish ·forward modeling detailed reservoir calibration using comprehensive data sedimentary sequence analysis minute interpretation of reservoir reflections ·obtaining the interpretation data in each bin by automatic regional tracing technique based on reflection horizon interpretation ·acquirement of different seismic informations from horizon interfaces or between interfaces in regular seismic grid ·graphically analysing these informations so as to compute their gradients and ranges of variation for phase variation interpretation ·to predict favourable hydrocarbon-bearing zone by making statistical pattern recognition of multiple hinds of informations from the horizons involved ·reservoir description using lithologic parameters.
