Abstract:The object of crossborehole seismic observation is to ascertain the lateral variation of crossborehole medium by doing both the crossborehole velocity image and crossborehole migration image,so as to serve reservoir engineering and reservoir description.Different observation systems cause different influences on tomographic inversion or migration image because of the unique observation that puts source in a borehole and receivers in others.Numerical modeling is used to analyse the relations between the shot-receiving borehole distribution and geological structure trend,and between wavelet frequency and resolution under the conditions of different interborehole distances.The analysis is of great significance to crossborehole seismic data acquisition.
