Abstract:Wavelet transform is of good localization property in signal analysis.Both correlation of effective signals and randomness of random noises remain in wavelet transform domain,so that noise elimination can be achieved in the domain.Wavelet transform involves the two-variate function of frequency and time,which makes it convenient to simultaneously compensate for attenuation of seismic energy in frequency and time domains.It is experimentally shown that to achieve noise elimination and resolution improvement by using wavelet transform brings desirable convenience,high efficiency and good fidelity.
