Abstract:Traditional forward problem simulates seismic wave propagation by using elastic wave equation that was obtained in light of linear elastic theory for isotropic medium;and it neglects the near-source specific strain due to strong seismic stress,To describe source shot mechanism using such a model will create terrible error,which brings severe noise in simulated seismic wave field to make the forward simulation less reliable. The mathematical model which describes seismic wave propagation in elastoplastic medium is.weveloped on the basis of elastoplastic theory,This model considers seismic wave propagation course as loaded wave propagation course and unloaded wave propagation course.Approach to the problem is described,and the seismic wave field in elastoplastic medium is obtained through forward simulation,Comparing the result with that obtained using the traditional forward method which neglects the plasticity of near source medium indicates that the near source plasticity caused by strong seismic stress should not be neglected.
