Abstract:Analysing the general solution of plane wave in 3D transversely isotropic medium,we found that quasi P-wave,quasi SV-wave and quasi SH-wave are coupling and coexistent,The incidence of quasi P-wave(or quasi SV-wave)brings not only quasi P-wave and quasi SV-wave but also quasi SH-wave when reflecting and transmitting occur on an interface,Quasi SV-wave and quasi SH-wave travel in different velo-cities or show their phase difference;therefore,they separate finally,Potential function expressions are presented which correspond to different incident waves and include the relevant reflection coefficients and transmission coefficients; and wave potential functions versus incident angles are shown in the paper.
