Abstract:On the basis of potential field transform theory,the following iterative formulas far single interface inversion of gravity data observed on rough terrain were derived,These formulas are absolutely convergent,and the iterations stable.Convergence speeds up after a convergence factor is introduced.Having known the depth of a paint of a density interface,one can achieve the interface inversion of routinely processed gravity data by using the iterative formulas. Model trial shows that this method is accurate,and the iteration is stable,Therefore,the method is suitable to the inversion of hilly-area gravity data.
