Sedimentary pattern and reservoir prediction effects for lacustrine carbonate in No. 4 of Shahejie Formation,Liaoxi Depression

Abstract:The exploration maturity in Liaoxi Depression is low,the main reason is that the sedimentary pattern is not clearly understood. Through studies on distribution characteristics of the carbonate the sedimentary pattern was summarized for the lacustrine carbonate in this paper,under the direction of the sedimentary pattern,regarding the difference among distribution characteristics for different types of carbonate,the distribution of carbonate reservoir was predicted by integrating 3D seismic data with drilling data and by utilizing geological statistics,lithology inversion and other effective reservoir prediction methods respectively. The exploration proved that prediction results and drilling results matched well,and obvious application effects were achieved.
