Abstract:Taking African D area as an example, the paper presented the method using multiple seismic attributes to carry out reservoir prediction in the area of less exploration, raising confidence of predicted result maximally. The concrete ideas of study are: creating objective reservoir developing mode on the basis of objective intervals defined by logging data; and using multiple analytic techniques of seismic attributes and in combination with geologic and logging data to discover and define traps, carry out integrative evaluation and guide drilling deployment. The paper used this set of predicting method to analyze the distribution range of reservoir and the distribution feature of favorable lithology in D area, provided two well-sites. The drilled result not only fitted into predicted results of reservoir, but also acquired good oil/gas show.
