Abstract:Low-pass filtering for regular potential field anomaly data is a frequently used processing method.In the signal which is removed by low-pass filtering contains some information which reflects geological anomaly boundary.For avoiding the disadvantage,the small subdomain filtering method was developed.In order to raise the efficiency and the filtering effects for the small subdomain filtering method,the improvement on the partition mode for the small subdomain filtering was introduced in this paper.The theoretical model and field data calculation show that the new method can not only raise calculation speed,buy also can alleviate the distortion of abnormal boundary turning point and make the gradient belt converge better.
