Abstract:Solving the boundary value problem of wave equation by boundary element method in frequency domain involves these steps 1. 1D Fourier transform of time variable is made to convert the wave equation into Helmholtz equation; 2. this equation is then solved using boundacy-elemsent method in frequency domain; 3. the result is returned to time domainl by making inverse Fourier transform. comaprea with the formulas presented in literatures(1)and(2),the formula in this paper brings higher accuracy but less computation.
