Abstract:People use many methods for static correction.The static correcLion method using near-surface structure is quite ideal one. One method for estimating near-surface structure with the use of first breaks is recommended here, Generally speaking, the first breaks are of good quality, The generalized -linear inversion (GLI) of such first breaks can bring a reasonable near-surface structure,The computations of theoretical modeling and real seismic data proved this method effcctive.This method has these merits; high ability for attenuating noise, good adaptability to lateral velocity variation,fast convergence,etc.
