Abstract:Yuke area in mid Hebei depression is a prospect where more exploration have been done. Electric and sonic data reveal that the main interfaces in Paleogence formations are good reflectors. The general factor which caused the poor quality of seismic data in this area was mainly the complication of near surface structure. The nonuniform near surface sediment consists of two low velocity lavers. The deeper one causes great influence on the generation and propagation of seismic waves.In this area occur four kinds of surface wave whose dominant frequencies are under 10 Hz.Secondary waves, the main noises, are quite strong in this area. Field experiments were scientifically made on the basis of geological and geophysical conditions. Now we've deemed that good seismic data can be obtained using the field parameters: 18-20m shot depth, 8kg of charge, 200-300m ln-line offset, 24 folds, the geophone array consisting of 4 parallel strings and so on.
