Abstract:Based on the seismic data in Tarim desert area, the sand layer Q absorption survey data and the Q absorption theory modeling, the main reason which causes correlation between seismic data Quality and terrain, how Q absorption affects seismic data, the sand layer Q value estimation,Q absorption compensation and other Questions were thoroughly analyzed in this paper. The analysis results show that sand layer Q absorption is not the main reason to cause correlation between seismic data Quality and the terrain, the current-used Q value estimation method faces strong interference in estimating Q value, however the Q absorption compensation,to a certain extent, only can decrease the difference of seismic data quality which is terrain correlated.
