Abstract:In oil gas exploration in western China, static correction, especially long wave length static correction is always a big problem due to the complex near-surface geological geophysical conditions, the rugged terrain, the large lateral variation in near-surface lithology, velocity and thickness of weathered and sub-weathered zone. Regarding the static correction problem in complex near-surface terrain, refraction wave static correction technique was used along with field uphole survey data and spatial variation V0 algorithm, as a result the imaging results were greatly improved, the static correction problem resolved, and the excellent processing results achieved.
