Abstract:Low Eg stratigraphic overlap reservoir is developed in northern gentle slope zone of east part of Chenjiazhuang salient, therefore, accurately determining the position of stratigraphic overlap line has important meaning to guide petroleum prospecting. Based on the studied results of predecessors and analyzing the results of forward simulation of stratigraphic overlap line, the paper considered that the factors such as angle of unconformity and stratigraphic angle control the position of pinchout point of seismic reflection events near the stratigraphic overlap line. Extrapolating the changing trends of seismic reflection events can quantitatively determine the position of stratigraphic overlap line. The method was used for the low Eg overlap reservoir exploration in northern gentle slope zone of eastern part of Chenjiazhuang salient.
