Abstract:The common-used prestack inversion often carries out approximate linear processing for non-linear objective function, which makes inverted results approach to the global optimum solution; otherwise, it is easy to fall into local minimum. This kind of prestack inversion is to fit the seismic traces or reflection coefficients, in which there exist many local minimums in objective function. All these directly affect iterative inversion to reach to global minimum. For that reason, the paper presented the method of wavelet transform-based prestack seismc elastic parameter inversion. Since multiscale wavelet inversion is a effective inversion tool that can fasten convergence speed, overcome influence of local extreme and search for global minimum, it has strong anti-noise capacity and higher resolution. It is shown by model test and practical data processing that the method can not only improve the stability of solution, fasten solving speed and improve the solving precision, but also have higher resolution both in vertical and in lateral directions.
