Abstract:In order to do simulation and analysis of seismic wavefield on relief surface, the paper used a coordinate mapping method to map relief surface onto horizontal surface and deduced 2-D acoustic wave equation on post-mapping coordinate, then, used finite-difference algorithm for numeric simulation of seismic wavefield on relief surface after coordinate mapping. The calculated results showed the method could correctly simulate the seismic wavefield on relief surface. It is shown by analyses in aspects of waveform, energy, spectrum and phase that the relief surface significantly affects the dynamic feature of seismic wavefield.
