Abstract:The study taking the data volume acquired from model and seismic forward simulation as object can push development and bringing forth new ideas of seismic approaches. According to structural feature of typical geologic models in Shengli oilfield, the paper presented staggering mesh high-order difference forward simulation of density-variated acoustic equation. The paper analyzed the numeric dispersion of the method, discussed the stability and constructed acoustic absorption boundary condition by characteristic analysis method. The seismic forward simulation of geologic models and application cases showed the acoustic wave equation given in this paper is characterized by strong adaptability, high-precision of simulated data volume and good quality, which has popularization value.
