Abstract:Reservoir geophysical technique is extension of exploration geophysics toward oilfield development domain, mainly including characterized data acquisition technique, such as 3-D high-precision seismic technique, borehole seismic technique, multi-wave/multi-component technique and 4-D seismic technique; common seismic data-based fine reservoir description technique, such as fine seismic data processing, poststack and prestack seismic attributes and inversion, reservoir model-building and numeric reservoir simulation techniques. These techniques are paid more attention by oilfields at home and have achieved better results in application, which have made important contribution to increase reserve and production. The paper reviewed the forming process of reservoir geophysics technology, introduced and summarized the techniques and their application, and probed the development direction ahead.
