Abstract:First,the paper briefly analyzed the causes that the ordinary multicomponent data static corrections damage the amplitude information,then,discussed the influence of static corrections in three different nearsurface velocity structures on prestack amplitude by wavefield simulation and analysis of seismic wave propagation feature,that is:the multicomponent data static corrections probably has no affect on prestack amplitude when the nearsurface structure is lowvelocity,we can adopt the ordinary multicomponent processing mode;when the nearsurface structure is higher velocity that the velocity in near surface is lower than that in targets,the influence of static corrections generally can not be neglected;when the nearsurface structure is higher velocity that the velocity in near surface is higher than that in targets,the static corrections may give opposite amplitudevariant feature and mistaken analytic results of prestack amplitude,which is main reason that the AVO technique is failure sometimes in Pwave prospecting. Based on these reasons,the paper pointed out it should overcome the influence of static corrections on the analysis of prestack amplitude in highvelocity nearsurface structure and the study of application of nearsurfacebased prestack vector wavefield processing is necessary.
