Abstract:Sealing analysis of complicated fault block trap is done by inferr-ing from drilling lithologic data the sandstone reservoir sealing condi-tions which are caused by faults.However,high-precise structural mapand detailed drilling lithologic data at the both sides of a fault are ne-cessary.Different lithologic combinations bring different reflection wave-forms.Sealing conditions at the both sides of a fault reflect lithologiccombinations,at the both sides.The bigger the difference between thelithologic combinations is,the more different their reflection wave-forms show.In the article,sealing conditions at both sides of a fault isinferred from the correlation analysis of reflection waveforms at theboth sides.The correlation analysis and statistics of 6 models bring the appro-ximate formula ρ=cos[k(100ω)],where p is correlation coefficient issealing ratio and k=1.95 (the result of tendency analysis on 6 models).Real examples show that this kind of analysis result can be the maxi-mum probability.
