Abstract:Since experienced a long period of weathering and erosion,developed karst reservoir in carbonate buried hill,development of igneous rocks (intrusive rock and extrusive rock) made the carbonate buried hill more complicated.Since there are many similarities in the characters of seismic response between igneous rocks and karst, which makes the identification and prediction of carbonate karst reservoir more difficult.In order to carry out identification and prediction of igneous rocks developed in carbonate buried hill, the paper created four modes of igneous seismic facies by correlation and study of seismic reflection feature of karst reservoir and igneous rocks, and summed up a set of methods combing seismic coherent character, the character of seismic attributes along the horizons with the feature of seismic facies on seismic sections.It was achieved good effects by using the methods for identification and prediction of igneous rocks in carbonate buried hill of Yinmaili area, Tabei of Tarim basin.
