Abstract:The method of power index regression is usually used to give the dispersion character curve with the cement index m,lithologic coefficient α,saturation index n and coefficient b in Archie's formulas when measuring resistivity of water-bearing rock with different salinity and oil-bearing rock with different water saturation within 12Hz~100kHz frequency range;the multi-salinity method is used to give dispersion character curve with B parameter in Waxman-Smits model.It is discovered by experimental analysis that there exists dispersion phenomenon to a different degree in the separate parameter of Archie's formulas and Waxman-Smits model,thus the value of water saturation computed for the resistivity under different frequency is different.For that reason,it should choose relevant interpretation model parameters to carry out correction of difference resulted from rock electric dispersion according to surveying frequency applied in resistivity log and by experimental study of dispersion character of rock electric parameter when carrying out the log evaluation of reservoir.
