Abstract:In a scarcely drilling area with poor seismic inversion effect, how to clearly divide delta subfacies and determine prograding direction of different times is the precondition for further identification of exploration targets. Based on delta deposition law, delta subfacies can be divided and each has its own thickness variation of high frequency seismic sequence. Delta plain subfacies is thin and relatively stable. Stratigraphic thickness of delta front subfacies increases obviously. Prodelta subfacies is the thickest area of delta. And in the front of the prodelta, the stratigraphic thickness of semi-deep lake subfacies reduces rapidly and then keeps stable.Based on this model, delta subfacies of all high frequency seismic sequences in the Formation lower Dong 2 have been divided in the Block BZ1/2. Applications show that the proposed model has achieved good results.
