Reservoir characteristics and exploration trend for carbonate inner reservoir in Yingmali Area

Abstract:The Cambrian-Ordovician marine facies hydrocarbon source rocks in the Yingmali low uplift margin sag is developed,the Upper Ordovician shale and Middle to Lower Ordovician limestone fracture and cavity form the effective reservoir and seal combination,the structure-lithology traps developed in the inner-region limestone,the oilgas formation and the migrationaccumulation of the oilgas in the margin sag area match very well in both time and the space.The limestone reservoir in the Ordovician inner-region show very strong heterogeneity,the reservoir type in the high part of the structure mainly belongs to the structure-fractured reservoir,the reservoir type in the low part of the structure was mainly dominated by vuggy reservoir.The reservoirs which have been found were mainly located in the high part of the structure,the drilling oilgaswater data test show that the reservoirs consist of oilwater units and fracture system with poor connectivity,the richness of the reservoir was controlled by the distribution of the reservoir vuggy system,the lovas reservoir development zone around the structure margin slope zone will be the key oilgas exploration target for the inner region limestone.
