Highlighting display of geological anomaly body based on range transform

Abstract:It can be difficult to highlight the anomalous body by a color matching scheme in the detection for geologic anomalous body if the value range for detecting value of anomalous body is too small.Aimed at this instance,a zoom method to highlight the anomalous body for different detection value intervals was proposed in the paper.First,the value range of interval was zoomed according to the showing-up frequency of different detection value intervals,then liner transform was used to map the detection value into new value range and finally the new detection value was displayed through the color mixing.The model test and the processing result for the tidal channel of Changxin Formation of Permian in XX area of northeast Sichuan Basin,and the sand body of Triassic Zhongyou Formation of YY area in Tahe proved the effectiveness of the method.
