Abstract:Guantao formation in Kongdian Oilfield,Dagang belongs to near-source braided river deposits which is characterized by thick reservoirs and encased-mud sandbodies.In general reservoirs are of high prorosity and high permeability,and they are complicated,.Based on these characteristics,the previous studies were guided by structural reservoirs ideas.However,in the recent development,increasing low-oil and high-water reservoirs occurs.That means the accumulation regularity is rather complex and reservoir distribution and changes are not clear.So stratigraphic reservoir research and fine reservoir prediction are needed.We put forward in this paper an approach to sovle the problem.First we analyze the sedimentary background of the region on strata slices.Then based on forward modeling sedimentary facies belts are classified with the 90° phasing and frequency decomposition.Finally oil potential is predicted with fluid activity properties.
