Abstract:Microseismic monitoring in seismic and geology integration.XU Gang1,LI Deqi2,WANG Shize1,and HE Sijin1.Oil Geophysical Prospecting,2018,53(Supplement 2):115-123. With the increase of oil and gas demands of global economic development and the exploration technology progress,unconventional oil and gas resources have gradually become now an alternative resource and a hotspot in the exploration and development all over the world.China has abundant unconventional oil and gas resources.There are large zonesof unconventional oil reservoirs in many basins such as Sichuan Basin,Songliao Basin,and Junggar Basin,and their peripheral regions,where shale and tight sands provide favorable geologic conditions for reservoir formation.Based on the developments of reservoir sweet-spot prediction,horizontal well drilling and completion,reservoir sti-mulation,and microseismic monitoring,our research team has summarized a strategy of seismic and geo-logy integration.This involves many disciplines and has been already applied in the field.The paper presents an example in Sichuan Basin.
