Abstract:An old oilfield with a dense well-pattern in the Bohai Bay Basin in the Eastern China enters in the second development stage.However,this oilfield is characterized by complex sediments and well-deve- loped subtle faults of continental fault-depression lacustrine basin,so their characterization is rather difficult.To overcome this problem,a multi-information integration,including seismic,logging,geological,and development data,is adopted to study sedimentary.Firstly,based on the geological background of the study area,an isochronous-strata-correlation framework is built with frame well patterns and isochronous-strata-correlations.Secondly,various sedimentary microfacies features are identified with the multi-facies (core,logs,and seismic) calibration.Meanwhile,the sedimentary evolution characteristics for the sedimentary model building are revealed with the paleogeomorphology analysis and stratigraphic slices.Finally,guided by the sedimentary model,the sand thickness and its distribution are characterized with seismic multi-attribute fusion constrained by well and crosswell information.Our comprehensive sedimentary-facies characterization is verified by later drilling results,and provides a good foundation for the future hydrocarbon exploration and development.
