Abstract:The newly acquired broadband seismic data in the central block of Pre-Caspian Basin,Kazakhstan is characterized by the abundant low frequency and broadband components.However,the conventional constraint coefficient pulse inversion,which highly relies on the dominant frequency,cannot make full use of low-frequency characteristics of the data.In this paper,a frequency-segmented inversion is used to introduce amplitude versus frequency (AVF) as independent information into inversion (AVF is obtained from logging and seismic data).First,a sensitivity curve of reservoir is determined by crossplots of logging curves,and this sensitivity curve is considered as the target curve.Then,segments of frequency band are chosen by spectrum analysis,and the segmented-frequency support vector machine or neural network training is carried out to calculate AVF relationship at different thickness,and establish the nonlinear mapping relationship between reservoir sensitivity curves and seismic waveforms.Finally,the inversion data volume is obtained to carry out reservoir prediction.Because of the full use of broadband information of the seismic data,the frequency-segmented inversion has achieved a good vertical resolution and good prediction coincidence rate in the central block of Pre-Caspian Basin.
