Abstract:Energy attenuation and phase distortion rela-ted to frequency occur when seismic wave propagates in strata.The attenuation,scattering and dispersion of high-frequency components are much higher than that of low-frequency components.The frequency-related absorption of seismic waves by strata enables the low-frequency components to retain more abundant information that can better reflect the properties of media.The forward modeling analysis shows that the low-frequency information can reduce multi-solutions of seismic data inversion results and improve the accuracy of lithological interpretation.With a full use of low-frequency information of wide azimuth,broadband,and high-density (WBH) seismic data,the role of low-frequency seismic information in inversion is studied in the prediction of subsalt carbonate reservoirs in the eastern margin of Pre-Caspian Basin.According to the comparison of the low-frequency component influence on the initial model and the sparse pulse inversion constrained by logging data,it is concluded that the low-frequency seismic information plays an important role in improving the accuracy of seismic inversion.
